Pomegranate Earrings

Copper, Japanese miracle beads

Originally conceived of as an accessory to another project that I haven't yet finished (this text will naturally change when I've finished the project in question). These pomegranate earrings use Japanese miracle beads for the body of the fruit and copper petal-shaped beads for the spray at the top. The reflective core and translucent lacquered shell of the miracle beads bring to mind the seeds of a pomegranate, so there's that nice self-reflexivity going on.
