Matchstick Earrings

Sterling silver, cubic zirconia

These earrings were born out of my experimentation with closely-grouped flush settings. I specifically chose square silver stock that was narrower than the stones I was setting in it, so that sparkle of the 3mm-wide CZs would completely dominate the bottom portion of the earrings. They're post-mounted and hang perfectly off the ears, and when the light hits them they really do have the fire of a lit match.
